It has a mahogany case in the Egyptian revival style, with a round white-painted dial, convex glass, fretted side panels and a glazed rear door. The pendulum movement with anchor escapement contains double fusees and the striking employs a rack. The back plate is marked Crick London . Chosen by National Maritime Museum.
